Mechanical Properties and Bioactive Characteristics of Glass-Ceramics
Crystallization behavior of SiO2-CaO-MgO (Na2O) bulk glasses containing WO3 and Fe2O3 nucleants was investigated. XRD results showed that the main crystalline phases in this system were wollastonite particles and diopside fibers, the latter of which increased its strength and toughness.

Structural Transistions in Glasses and Glassforming Liquids
Brillouin light scattering was used for the investigation of glassforming systems of variable fragility, with the objective to elucidate the glass transistion phenomenon. A theoretical model was developed that provides consistent description of the temperature dependence of real and imaginary mechanical moduli of all the systems investigated.
